John Cabot was Italian explorer who discovered North America in 1497. His trip is also considered as a second trip after Cristopher Colombus.

Like Christopher Columbus, John Cabot have many versions of the name. John Cabot is a version of the name when he was living in England, Giovani Caboto was his Italian and Juan Caboto version is the version name in Spain. Born in Italy, in the city of Venice, but the year is still being debated, but is expected in 1461.
